BLACK AMERICA SINGS BOB DYLAN

I've tried and tried.

---

I tried when I was young and my dad was trying to play his acoustic songs.

I tried in junior high when people were trying to learn Jimi's take on his song.

I tried in my first year of college when it was damn near expected of you to like him.

---

But no, I'll never be able to call myself a Bob Dylan fan.

I can say however that I really enjoy these covers!

---

They're all from How Many Roads - Black America Sings Bob Dylan, which is a pretty self-explanatory album.

Here are three of the highlight tracks from it.

---

Major Harris, "Like A Rolling Stone" (MP3)

Bobby Womack, "All Along The Watchtower" (MP3)

Solomon Burke, "Maggie's Farm" (MP3)
